Comparative Analysis of the Land Use and Land Cover Changes in Different Governorates of Oman using Spatiotemporal Multi-spectral Satellite Data

This study utilizes Sentinel-2 satellite data and supervised machine learning to analyze land cover and land use changes across Oman's governorates from 2016 to 2021, aiding resource management and sustainable development. The approach effectively classifies various land types, enabling a comparative assessment of LULC dynamics over the five-year period.
